Certain types of Task items may not appear to be correct after migration to Office 365 when viewed via Outlook.

Solution

A limitation of Exchange Web Services prevents the proper importing of some of these types of items.  The message classes which are affected are listed below:

  • IPM.TaskRequest.Accept
  • IPM.TaskRequest
  • IPM.TaskRequest.Update

As a workaround, these items can be viewed successfully in Outlook Web App.
