Summary/Overview

You might need to know what data center region your Office 365/Exchange tenant is in since it impacts where your Azure resources should be located. This is especially true in cases of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This article explains how to check your Office 365/Exchange data center region.

Note: Regions available in the Office 365 Admin Center do not directly correlate with regions available within the Azure options.

Steps

Follow the steps below to find your data center region:

  1. Log in to Office 365 as a Global Administrator.
  2. Access the Office 365 Admin Center.
  3. Access the organization profile by clicking the organization name shown in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Scroll down to the Data location section (shown below).
