Issue
There are a number of advanced configuration options which are not normally visible within EVnearSync. This article explains how to enable them.
Solution
Close the browser windows which might be currently accessing EVnearSync.
Navigate to the EVnearSync Web App web.config file, for example it may be in this location: C:\Program Files\QUADROtech\EVnearSync\WebUI
Edit the web.config file
Add the following line in to the web.config:

<add key="AdvancedMode" value="True"/>

It should be within the AppSetting section, eg:

<appSettings> <add key="DXEnableResourceMerging" value="True"/> <add key="LiveRefreshSeconds" value="5"/> <add key="webpages:Version" value="1.0.0.0"/> <add key="ClientValidationEnabled" value="true"/> <add key="UnobtrusiveJavaScriptEnabled" value="true"/> <add key="AllowAnonymousToRegisterUsers" value="false"/> <add key="StaticContentVersion" value="2"/> <add key="AdvancedMode" value="True"/> <add key="BaseUrl" value="http://localhost/EVnearSync"/> <add key="CoreWebServiceUrl" value="http://localhost:4343/EvnsCoreService"/> </appSettings>

Save and close the file. Windows UAC may prevent the file from being saved in to the current folder, if so, save it to the desktop and then drag and drop it back into the correct folder.

Open a browser and go to the EVnearSync URL, eg http://localhost/EVnearSync

Go to Settings -> Global

Additional settings, which are displayed in a different will now be visible.

Note: Care should be taken when adjusting these values as they may adversely affect the environment. Changes should be made only after discussing them with Quadrotech.
