Solution

  1. Create an archive migration mapping with “Collect retention tags” enabled and start the migration.
  2. Items that do not have a retention category mapping defined will be exported from Enterprise Vault but not imported to Office 365.
  3. Disable ‘Collection retention tag’ and restart Office 365 module.
  4. Run a container mapping health check and verify that no issues have been reported.
  5. Items that were not imported initially are migrated.
  6. Stage 2 begins.
