This has been addressed by Veritas, refer to the following article.
If it is not possible to upgrade to that version, the following may work:

  1. Log in to a server that has the Active Directory Directory Services tools installed.
  2. Click Start > Run, type adsiedit.msc and click OK.
  3. Right-click ADSI Edit on the left side of the mmc, select Connect to…
  4. Enter the Active Directory Domain details and click OK.
  5. Navigate through the Active Directory structure to where the Service account is located.
  6. Right-click the Service account and select properties.
  7. Review the HomeMTA Attribute associated with the Vault Service account.If the HomeMTA attribute is blank or <not set> complete the steps below.
    1. Collect the HomeMDB and MsExchHomeServer attributes using ADSIEdit for the Service account:HomeMDB – CN=Database01,CN=Databases,CN=Exchange Administrative Group(FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=example,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=example,DC=local
      MsExchHomeServer – /o=example/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Configuration/cn=Servers/cn=server01
    2. Build the HomeMTA attribute based on the HomeMDB and MsExchangeHomeServer collected above:
    3. Start with the HomeMDB:
      CN=Database01,CN=Databases,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups, CN=example,CN=Microsoft
      Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=example,DC=local
    4. Notice the removed CN items from the example above.
      CN=Exchange Administrative Group(FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=example,CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=example,DC=local
    5. Add the servers reference:
      CN=Servers,CN=Exchange Administrative Group(FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=example,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=example,DC=local
    6. Add the server name reference from the MsExchHomeServer collected in step 1:
      CN=server01,CN=Servers,CN=Exchange Administrative Group(FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=example,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=example,DC=local
    7. Add the MTA reference:
      CN=Microsoft MTA,CN=server01,CN=Servers,CN=Exchange Administrative Group(FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=example,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=example,DC=local
    8. Using ADSIEdit populate the HomeMTA attribute in Active Directory for the service account with the value created in step 2.
