Issue  
It might sometimes happen that EVnearSync Agent service is unable to start. If you are running on Enterprise Vault 12; an additional configuration change is required in EVnearSync Agent config file to resolve the issue.
Solution
If you are not running on the latest version of EVnearSync we recommend you to upgrade EVnearSync to the latest version available on Quadrotech FTP server.
Once the upgrade is successfully completed please follow these steps:
1. Go to the server where EVnearSync Agent is installed. (usually an Enterprise Vault server)
2. Open the EVnearSync Agent config file. You can find it on this default location: “C:\Program Files\QUADROtech\EVnearSync\AgentService.exe.config”.
3. Search for the “startup” tag and replace the “supportedRuntime version” inside:

FROM:
  <startup>
    <supportedRuntime version="v2.0.50727"/>
  </startup>
TO:
  <startup>
    <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0"/>
  </startup>

4. Start the EVnearSync Agent Service.
