Overview
Archive Shuttle EV Export module may log error below during item extraction from Enterprise Vault:

Enterprise Vault is not running.
at KVS.EnterpriseVault.Interop.IItem.Get(Int32 DetailLevel)
at ArchiveShuttle.Module.EVExportModule.ItemContentRetrievers.ContentRetrieverBase.FetchItem(IItem item, Int32 detailLevel)
at ArchiveShuttle.Module.EVExportModule.ItemContentRetrievers.StandardContentRetriever.FetchItem(IItem item)
at ArchiveShuttle.Module.EVExportModule.ItemContentRetrievers.ContentRetrieverBase.Process(EVArchive archive, Int32 commandId, Int32 mappingId, EVExportResult item, StagingArea stagingArea)

Solution
Module is getting the error above from EV API during item extraction from Enterprise Vault storage. This could be related to:
a) Load – we would recommend to decrease threads or ask Veritas for investigation
b) Orphaned StorageOnlineOPNS process – we would recommend to read Veritas KB about it or ask Veritas for investigation
c) Out of disk space on a partition where CAB files need to be extracted. Review free disk space on each partition.
DTrace logs ussualy shows:
5 08:09:43.762 [1380] (StorageOnlineOpns) <8352> EV:H {ExtractData:#141} Failed writing \\SomeDirectoryPath\SomeFileName.ARCHDVSSP: errno = 28
Based on DTrace we recommend to add more space to affected EV server.

It is recommended to review EV Export module log files, as if there is some export happening it is most probably related to a) and if no, then it is most probably related to b)
